Full Day Tour Viña del Mar the Spa City (Private)
The city of Viña del Mar is an unmissable destination on the central coast of Chile. The beauty of its coastal landscapes, its beaches and its active summer and nightlife offer the perfect complement for those who want to vacation in a modern city that respects its heritage. Viña del Mar was the favorite destination of the aristocracy of the prosperous 1920s before the Great Depression and also a bustling venue in the prodigious decade of the 1960s.
Proof of this was its choice as a sub-venue for the 1962 World Cup and the first edition of the Festival of New Latin American Cinema in 1967. Viña del Mar is also known as "Ciudad Jardín" and "Ciudad Bella" and the visitor will be able to confirm this firsthand. hand.

Itinerary
Día 1
City Tour in Vina del Mar
Start time: 10:00 a.m.
- We will start from Quinta Vergara passing through the wonderful places of this forest park that includes the residence of the founder of the city and the Amphitheater where the Viña del Mar Festival is held every year.
- We will also see the exotic species of trees that were planted in this residence by the founding family of the city. We will move to the Parroquia Nuestra Señora de Dolores that shows the Catholic tradition rooted in the local culture.
- From there we can also appreciate the architectural beauty of the Viña del Mar Club, social club of the elite society of the Belle Epoque. We will visit the Municipal Square and cross the Estero Marga-Marga, to enjoy artistic, sculptural and architectural wonders, by visiting the Carrasco Palace, with its original by Auguste Rodin and the Rioja Palace.
- These palaces were the enormous residences of great Spanish businessmen of the time converted into museums. On the way you will see an exotic Moai sculpture from Easter Island (Rapa Nui) and other works from the Natural History Museum.
- Then we will go to enjoy the modern city in the other sector and we will go to the beautiful beaches of this sector of the Pacific Sea (Playa Las Salinas, Playa Reñaca, Playa El Sol, Playa del Deporte, Playa Los Cañones). We will see the variety of local and international gastronomy (Peruvian, Arabic, Italian, German) that survives as a way of serving the visitors who arrive in the city every summer.
- You will be able to take beautiful photographs of the views towards the Concon-Reñaca sector and towards the opposite side in the limits with Valparaíso. We will arrive at sectors where you will be able to detect the great importance given to a healthy lifestyle by the sea and the elevation of its residential architecture that contrasts with the sand and the waves. We will visit the different beach sectors, from Playa de las Salinas to Playa Los Cañones, passing through Playa Acapulco and Playa El Sol. Next, we will arrive at the Vergara Pier, which recalls the industrial origin of the city.
- On the way back we will optionally visit the Municipal Casino, the Wülff Castle, the Ducal CAP and we will get views of the Brunet Castle, Ross Palace, the Sheraton Miramar Hotel, the Presidential Summer House and the Arab Union Club. You will enjoy a quiet walk along the coastline. We will visit from the iconic Flower Clock where you can locate places to have lunch, rest, enjoy the breeze, take beautiful photographs, admire the beauty of marine life and the coastline.
- At the end we will arrive at a beach area Playa Caleta Abarca and do not forget, if you wish, to follow the tradition of putting your feet in the Pacific Sea. I invite you to visit the best-known places in the city to enjoy the mixture of tradition and modernity of this beautiful spa city.
