Panoramic Tour "Desert Route"
The landscape which contextualizes the region of Arica and Parinacota is characterized and explained mainly by two factors: In the first place the tectonics, which explains the relief and topography of the region and secondly the river erosion, present in greater percentage during the summer months where there are greater records of rainfall in the interior area. These two factors explain in turn the existence of biodiversity present in the region and also the millenary cultural development present in these latitudes, considering that the region has little water resources, where societies were forming and developing around them, impacting on Your culture and ways of life.
