Through this tour we will make contact with the magical nature that surrounds the Island of Chiloé. We will get to know the enchanting Piedra Forest, an initiative created by Elena Bochetti, which promotes ecological, botanical and geological tourism.
We will also visit the famous Chiloé National Park, passing through "El Tepual" or tepu forest, which is a closed and not very tall shrub that grows in wetlands.
We will learn about the flora and fauna of the region in full contact with the nature of this special destination, an essential experience for your visit.

Itinerary
Día 1
Chiloé National Park and Piedra Forest
Start time: 9:30 am
- We will begin our tour heading south to the town of Huilinco, where you can see the largest hydrographic basin on the Island of Chiloé, where the Huilinco and Cucao lakes meet.
- We continue along the edge of the lake to the Piedra Forest. The Piedra Forest is a circuit that crosses the evergreen forest of Chiloé, where we will be able to see different types of trees, accompanied by an expert guide who will tell us about all the dynamics of the forest, its components and the geological behavior.
- After visiting the Piedra Forest, we will have lunch at Tradiciones Morelia, (not included) considered an essential appointment when passing through the Forest. Run by its owners, all its products are regional, made in a traditional way.
- We will continue along the road bordering the lake until we reach Cucao, which is an old indigenous town that since 1734 already had a chapel, but unfortunately the 1960 tsunami devastated the most remote constructions.
- We will pass through the vehicle bridge that is located at the mouth of the lake, and through here we will cross to the Chanquín sector, where we will begin our tour in the Chiloé National Park. Here we will walk along the "El Tepual" trail, which lasts approximately 1 hour.
- After the walk, we will return to our hotels.
