Chiloé Mythological and Traditional Tour
- We will sail through the Chacao Channel for around 30 minutes.
- This area is the gateway to the Isla Grande de Chiloé and its customs and traditions.
- We will visit the fort San Antonio in the city of Ancud, a very important site in the defense of the city years ago.
- The San Francisco de Castro Church is one of the most important churches in the south of Chile due to its age as well as the work of its woods, whose construction dates from the beginning of the century and is characterized by its fine larch woods.

Itinerary
Día 1
Chiloé Mythological and Traditional Tour
- 8:00 am. We will leave Puerto Montt or Puerto Varas on Route 5 South in the direction of the town of Pargua located on the north bank of the Chacao Channel.
- We will sail through the Chacao Channel for around 30 minutes, we will have the possibility of observing some birds and the Chilean dolphin.
- We will arrive at the town of Chacao, to visit the Plaza and Church of the town.
- From there, we will head towards Ancud, some 30 km away, where we will visit the city museum and Fort San Antonio, which is one of the sites built by the Spaniards to defend the island from pirates and corsairs as well as other foreign powers.
- We will continue to Dalcahue fishing village where we will visit the largest artisan fair on the island and visit the Church of Our Lady of Sorrows, whose chapel was begun in 1734 and is declared a "World Heritage Site".
- After lunch we will take the coastal route Llau-Llau to Castro where we will visit the palafitos of Río Gamboa, the plaza and its church.
- Then we will take Route 5 north until we reach Puerto Montt.
- 8:00 pm. End of service
