Navigation to the Balmaceda and Serrano Glaciers
Explore the magnificent Balmaceda and Serrano glaciers, navigating the Ultima Esperanza fjord. You will visit the Bernardo O'Higgins National Park, enjoy boat stops at the Serrano snowdrift and walk through the forest to the edge of the lagoon.

Itinerary
Día 1
Full Day
- We will visit the Serrano and Balmaceda glaciers from the Puerto Natales pier around 08:00 in the morning, sailing along the coast to enter the sinus surrounded by hills and forests, where if the weather conditions allow it, the elephant seals they can be seen lounging on the rocks and hundreds of cormorants fanning their outstretched wings.
- After 3 hours of navigation, they reach the Balmaceda hill (2,035 m), with its summit covered in ice that falls in the colossal snow that drifts towards the sea.
- The boat approaches the Balmaceda glacier and stops at the Serrano glacier, where it stops for a walk through the forest until it reaches the shore of the lagoon full of icebergs and with a wonderful view of the hills and Ultima sound. Hope.
- Then we will make a stop at Perales Ranch to buy a traditional Patagonian lamb (Lunch not included)
- The return to the wharf is made bordering the opposite bank of the sine. (Arrival at the pier approximately at 17:00 hrs.)
