Itinerary
Día 1
Iquique - Geiser de Puchuldiza - Cariquima
- 08:00 am, After breakfast we move to the commune of Huara to visit one of the largest Geoglyphs in the world of 100 Mts. High and 150 Mts. Wide representing an anthropomorphic figure located in the Unitas hill, place of religious rituals and ceremonies of the Tiwanaku Culture in the Atacama desert, with more than 1500 years old coinciding in the period of the expansion of said culture.
- During the journey before reaching such a majestic Felina image, we stop in the center of the Atacama desert to feel the “Song of the Water”, following our route in this inhospitable place, only accompanied by the Giant Geoglyph printed in the Pachamama by the aborigines forming orientations of his wisdom.
- After this brief detention we headed to the Chilean highlands to visit Isluga National Park and several photographic places of interest like many others throughout the program. In the Geiser de Puchuldiza, we will stop to enjoy a rich outdoor snack with varied delicacies and thus take advantage of taking a delicious thermal bath in the hot springs of the place, then we will move to the Aravilla Lagoons, the Village of Isluga and Enquelga with its Flora, Fauna and Volcanoes each of these with its typical 17th century Churches.
- After visiting the Isluga National Park we move to the town of Cariquima to accommodate us at our Tata Inti Hotel, which will also provide us with our dinner that is included.
Día 2
Cariquima - Cactus Forest - Red Lagoon - Camiña Iquique
- Have breakfast at 07:00 am , following the route north through the mountain range we turn to visit the Panavinto cactus forest we will arrive at Aravilla Lagoon, where we can find up to 4 varieties of flamingos in large quantities, you can also make photographic zafarí and then we go to the Red Lagoon our main destination, on the way we can observe a variety of flora and fauna of the place, finally crossing valleys and streams, also in each town its own churches of the Andean Baroque architecture, once reaching the red lagoon we must cross a river, not deep, we can observe three different colored laguas. Upon returning from the lagoon we will share a box lunch before lunch.
- Important fact we visited the giant cactus forest of Panavinto and the Coipasa salt flat.
- Lunch will be held in the commune of Camiña, arriving at approximately 15:00 pm and then we will visit the wonders of the Camiña gorge with its diversity of agriculture rest of the afternoon Free returning to Iquique at approximately 21:00 pm.
